In terms of population Italy is the fourth largest country in Europe and has long been attractive to holiday homeowners. Perhaps the appeal of the Tuscan farmhouse with vineyards or the house on the edge of Lake Garda will attract others. It has truly diverse appeal to those who go to Italy for differing reasons.

You can let the property for holiday use. When arranging insurance for an Italian property one particular concern for clients has been cover for earthquake damage. Not every insurer will offer earthquake cover for properties in Italy, but we are happy to provide earthquake cover at an extra cost. It all depends on how concerned the individual is in relation to earthquake. An earthquake may not seem likely but in certain countries it is more of a risk than others. If you want to pay slightly more to include earthquake cover we are certainly happy to oblige and you have peace of mind it is covered for your Italian holiday home.
